Our founder, Jen Jefferies, is a beacon of hope for underdogs everywhere, bringing unparalleled understanding to the realm of canine rehabilitation. With an unwavering focus on dogs facing challenges with behavior and aggression, Jen has dedicated her life to advocating for bully and power breeds through F.A.B.R Rescue.
Inspired by her beloved co-founder, Jax, Jen embarked on a mission to give even the most misunderstood canines a chance to heal and thrive. As a certified canine behaviorist, she merges her expertise in behavior modification and decompression with a deep personal empathy, crafting a not only a rehabilitation center where the underdogs can find solace, understanding and sanctuary.
Jen’s journey is deeply personal—rooted in her own experiences with trauma and a steadfast belief in second chances. Her own struggles have forged an unbreakable bond with canines who have suffered from trauma, abuse, neglect, and abandonment. For those dogs unable to be placed within families, Jen has transformed her rescue into a sanctuary dedicated to these incredible animals.

Our co-founder/Marketing and media manager Taylor has been working along side Jen at F.A.B.R for roughly 2 years now. She first began as a volunteer and helped come up with creative event ideas as well as helping on site with all of F.A.B.R's rescue and personal dogs. Her bond and friendship with Jen began the moment they met, as it grew Taylor knew that she had made a forever friend and member of her family. She became more involved with her ideas and inputs in conversations when the talk of F.A.B.R rescue transitioning into canine rehabilitation therapy and sanctuary. As the months went on she believed that helping Jen at F.A.B.R was really her calling, she has always loved dogs. Jen soon asked her to be a member of the team! So here we are ! Taylor has also learned so much from Jen and just the sheer interest on continuing to learn has driven her to believe that we can make a difference. She believes that every animal big, small, young or old should have the best life. Dogs do not get to choose their owners, but us as human beings have that ability which should only be a privilege, if you are educated on that specific breed you happen to choose. Too many humans are failing dogs and setting them up for failer, abandonment or even death because they do not have the knowledge needed or the resources or lifestyle that that specific breed needs to thrive. Taylor is dedicated to making a change, making an impact how animals are treated as if they are disposable. She has many ideas moving forward that will be seen, and heard through marketing & media.
